The Betrayal of Anne Frank: a cold case investigation, Rosemary Sullivan

Highly recommend this book. Before I read it I wondered how on earth you could even write a book about a mystery like this and from so long ago. But you do get an answer. You will learn a lot you did not know about Anne Frank and everyone in her family, including those who risked their lives to save them. I don’t want to give anything away, but this is a digestible history book, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Rosemary Sullivan has become one of my favorite writers because of this book. She wrote a book called “Stalin’s Daughter,” which takes what could be a book about Stalin, but she tells it through another, more interesting lens….him as a father. That’s how this book is too. She takes a story you have heard about multiple times and shows it through a different perspective.
